Stanley Caryn Pines, my beloved... what is there to say? i absolutely adore this sixty or seventy-someting year old man with horrible knees and hearing with all my heart. i even have a Totally Real and Official marriage certificate for us!!! It's totally real!!!
perhaps i have a thing for old men, especially Cool Fun and Good of Heart type old men. i am so bad at describing anything that i love i'm sorry. but there really are no words!! all i can say is that, when i first watched gravity falls, i was like "??? Old guy... hmm". i was in high school then, and didn't think much of it. when i turned 25(!!!) and the gravity falls renaissance occurred, a realization hit me like a freight train:
grunkle stan is.... hot and cool...

and that was that!!! well, not really. i was in a pretty terrible place during that time and felt incredibly lonely and lost. funnily enough, me attaching myself onto grunkle stan like a starving leech helped me redirect my feelings of loneliness and gave me someone to smile about. i'm someone who truly thrives in healthy relationships, but have had some pretty wretched luck in the romance department (of which i will not get into because this is my blorbo shrine, not my Life Sucks page. that's somewhere else on this webbed site). yumeshipping has really, really helped me cope with the difficult feelings that come about when it comes to relationships, and has given me a much healthier outlet to literally pour my love and creativity into. i suck at writing i am so sorry. eventually this will get better i promise!!

Waow!! some fun facts about stan: grunkle stan most likely speaks fluent spanish!! technically his BROTHER is the one on the no-fly list!! he's from new jersey!! he's wanted for pug smuggling!! he's a gemini!!! he's gone by many names, including "andrew '8-ball' alcatraz" and "ptsd barnum"!! he was able to rebuild the portal without a higher ed degree!! isn't he so cool????? he was turned into a marketable plushie that can be purchased on the mystery shack website.

Mateo Manta (Date Everything)

If his theme music is any indication, this is one calming cloth. Anytime you need a friendly hug, Mateo's inanimal rescue is Sweetness Central. If you can help him bring his flock back, you'll be able to give his soul the rest it needs.

MATEO MI CARINYOSO.... my beloved 4ever. he's the personification of a blanket in the game Date Everything by Sassy Chap Games (which i wholeheartedly recommend for those 18+)!!! incredibly sweet, relaxed, full of love... but also unable to take the time to care for himself and ask for help! man, i really like this guy. his entire storyline is too short but also ... satisfying... rescuing and caring for animals in the house... helping him take time for himself... it's Everything. i wish we had more events with him, especially after his route!! (i honestly wish this for like most of the DE characters, but there are 100+ dateables in the game...)

he has such a big heart and looks so comfy to hug. i mean, he is your blanket in the game, so... he also looks like he smells like clean laundry All The Time.

Wally Darling is the friendliest neighbor in Welcome Home, perhaps even the best painter too. With a smile like his it's hard to disagree! Always eager to make new friends and show them around the neighborhood, Wally is happy to lend a helping hand. But you knew that already, didn't you?

OMG WALLY... the rizzler... i first met wally in summer of 2024!! i was housing insecure and halfway through my master's program when i came across PartyCoffin's Welcome Home Restoration Project and BOY HOWDY it rewired my brain chemistry!! i absolutely adore everything about this series, as a fan of lost media, horror, and children's shows... it has everything! it even has beautiful art and thoughtful web design! with each update i become more invested!!

more about wally: wally is the host of the 1970's muppets/mr. rogers-esque children's show, Welcome Home!! he is an artist and a curious soul, drawing and painting with viewers, always learning about the world around him. he's so lovely! i even have a plushie of him!! he sits by my bedside!! he is Your best friend and is the only character who seems to be aware of your presence as a viewer. he's always wondering about you and believes that you are nice just the way you are! he is only twelve apples tall!!!
