i see that you are interested in modding your stardew game!

it isn't very hard, honestly. the stardew valley wiki has a very helpful guide to doing so (linked below). you can mod your game on windows, macos, android, or steam deck.

please note: if you are having issues with your mods, there is a high chance that it's because the version of the mod is not compatible with the current update- which, as of now, is 1.6. some mods will work despite being outdated, but this is hit-or-miss. mods that interfere with the save file can also cause some problems. some mods will interfere with each other and cause problems- always check compatibility! the sdv wiki/forum has great answers and resources to most troubleshooting.

several mods have required programs that need to also be downloaded and unzipped into your /Mods folder. the individual nexusgame pages for each mod that i will be providing should also have that information present. certain mods will not work if not paired with certain required programs.

Mods that Improve Vanilla Gameplay

Generic Mod Configuration Menu: adds a menu where you can easily configure mods!

Abilities - Experience Bars : adds extra info to experience bars, such as XP gained and how much more is needed. shows info for some mod-added skills.

Actually Lucky Rabbit's Foot - Rebooted: rabbit's foot actually provides luck when carried around.

Automatic Gates: automatically opens/shuts gates.

Better Chests: improves function and storage when using chests.

Better Quarry Redux: improves spawn rates of geodes, ore, and gems in the quarry.

Better Ranching: improves ranching, adds informational bubbles over farm animal heads

Better Winter Star Gifts: reduces chances of getting stuff like. Clay. for the feast of the winter star.

Challenging Community Center Bundles: what it says on the tin.

CJB Show Item Price: shows how much items are worth when you hover over them in the inventory.

Display Monsters Health: what it says on the tin.

Farmhouse Lights: adds illumination to your farm without the use of torches.

Greenhouse Sprinklers: gives an option to buy overhead sprinklers from Robin so you can save floorspace.

Happy Birthday: gives your farmer a birthday + events that go along with it!

Happy Home Designer: overhauls catalogues and integrates textures from Alternative Textures.

It's My Farm I'll Pass Out If I Want To: if you pass out on your farm, you don't get dragged to harvey's. you can configure your own consequences for passing out on your farm.

Last Day to Plant: puts a message on the last day you can plant a crop and be able to harvest it before season's end.

Light Radius: increases radius of light emitted by rings/lamps/etc.

Lovely Dig Spots: changes appearance of dig spots (the little worms) to make them easier to see.

Lumisteria's Progress to Perfection: you get nice gifts and letters as you progress towards perfection in-game.

More Lively Farm Cave: adds extra space and some other nice things to your farm cave

No Fence Decay Redux: fences no longer decay... whew

Pets Enhanced Mod: you can teach your cat or dog tricks and stuff.

Pet Overhaul: adds more pets!!

Platonic Partners and Friendships: lets you have a roommate without marriage :3

Polyamory Sweet: for the polyamorously inclined

Schedule Viewer: you can now see people's schedules in-game!
