it's been a few weeks! i presented my thesis a few weeks ago and am finishing up my last class for my MPH. i also hung out with some of my oldest friends- we went to a local castle and museum, and had some good outside time. life's been kind of stabilizing lately and for once, things are predictable. my thumb is injured still but i now am going to a physical therapist for it.

above are some photos of tilework from the castle. it was really beautiful and honestly, i wish modern homes could have personality like this. there are a lot of factors as to why people can't... really personalize their homes now, and it makes me sad. i want a house that's been in the family for a long time, i want to stay in one place. i've spent my entire life moving around, being basically transient and it just isn't for me. i guess something like this is my dream, but it's looking less and less likely as time passses.

anyway, i don't really have much to say. i did get a 2DS and successfully modded it- it took longer than i thought it would, but it's up and running! very proud of myself. i really look up to people who can repair or fix hardware stuff with old tech. i wish i could do something like that! i want to make a sleeper build PC one day, since i love the character old tech has but obviously need the power new tech has. idk. i just miss when shit was fun.
